FLORIDA COMMUNITIES COMPOSTING MAPS

Florida’s communities are important to the State’s organics recycling industry in that they exemplify how local communities pursue locally based, small programs to add to the organics recycling capacity and enterprises on a small scale. This Map was created using information from the ILSR page. We are expanding this section to provide more detailed information about these Florida locations and the services they offer. If you are a community composter, we would love to add you to our map page. Please email info@kesconsult.com to be added to this page.

SEARCH: Go to the Search Bar at the top of the map to find a location near you. Place your City name in the search box and to the right of it there is a drop-down arrow. Use that arrow to choose your distance preference.  Next to this, you can either chose ALL (which will list all the maps) OR Yard Waste (which will only give you those in the mileage vicinity you chose). Then either hit enter or the magnifying glass icon to narrow your search.

MAP ICON: Click on any icon to open up a box to see the detailed information about the facility, including but not limited to: the exact facility address, contact information, website information, what type of facility, what materials they accept, if they accept material from the public, and what products they sell.
