A partnership between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Recycle Florida Today (RFT), the State’s Recycling Association, and private industry has recently been reignited to seek ways to improve the beneficial use of compost and organics recycling products and materials in Florida. The long-term goal is to boost the use of compost in transportation projects.
The partnership includes, but is not limited to the following:

- Pilot Programs in Various Regions of Florida

On this page you will find documents that were prepared in partnership with FORCE, FDEP, and RFT. They are valuable resources to be used by the staff at FDOT and anyone wanting to learn more about the history of the partnership initiated in 2000.
